What a waste of talent im sure he will enjoy playing in the KHL again cause i doubt anyone offers him any decent money. For all his skill he has proven absolutely nothing in the NHL except that he is immature and self centered. What are the chances Andrei is brought back with the preds. I thought with his younger brother being there and doing well it would wake him up. But it seems that wasn't the case.

If Parise leaves NJ, would Radulov to NJ not make a little sense?

I'd take him for U$2 mil/1 year contract. He would benefit from playing with Malkin.

Careful what you wish for. He just didnt seem to be able to get any traction on the smaller ice surface. Yes he scored a few goals and had a few assists but was somewhat of a non-factor in the playoffs. It was worth the effort by Poile and the Preds but I am hearing that even his supporters on the team were put off by his attitude and actions after he got here from Mother Russia.

Who knows, he may go somewhere else and turn into the world-class player we all thought he might be but I am not nearly as positive on that happening as i was in March.

I think he still needs to "Grow UP" maybe that youtube of him hitting the coach was more accurate than we wanted to think.

Radulov is a selfish little overrated douche bag!

The NHL is simply too good for him. Let him return to obscurity in that Russian hack league.

Poile is a great GM in my book.

He gave this guy every opportunity to explore his options, sew his wild oats, left the door open for him to return, and most importantly recognized that he was never going to put the Predators first in his priorities and is ready to cut the cord.

Good on him for the way he's handled this situation.

I don't know what it is about these Russians but I don't think I would ever draft one. There must be bipolar genes in the water over there.

(I say all this as the Blues are about to welcome Vladimir Tarasenko to North America).

I would give him a shot. Trade him to Ottawa for Nashville's 3rd rounder on the terms that he signs a 2 year/6mil contract with us.

Apparently he is having marital problems, so they've brought that front and center. Also talks of him taking a leave of absence, stepping down, or being fired. None of which are apparently true, but that's Toronto's media for ya, always gotta stir something up.

I thought the same thing. So, Paul, in criticizing the Toronto media is basically doing the same thing by stirring up interest. Maybe the right thing to do would be to ignore the subject.

Why? Contracts mean nothing to this guy?

Seriously, does Radulov look like he'd be anything but a cancer in the locker room? The guy is selfish and appears to be the furtherest think from a team player.

Then again, as a Leafs fan, maybe Radulov going to Ottawa isn't such a bad idea after all!

Poile laid out the Radulov situation quite well on 102.5 an hour or so ago. Close that chapter and move on!

I doubt he stays in the NHL, even if he is wanted by another team here which is doubtful. Besides, he apparently wants lots of years and boatloads of money that no team here in their right mind will pay.

- wynne9

If, and this is a big IF, NJ cannot reach an agreement with Parise, would swapping out the rights to a RFA in Radulov for the rights to Parise make sense? It might seem like neither player will play for the teams, but it is at least something, right?

For anyone who missed it, here's Poile's interview regarding Radulov, Suter etc on The Game.

http://soundcloud.com/102...predators-general-manager

Btw, I'm not going to engage in all the Radulov sniping. The fact is that even when he wasn't fully acclimated to our ice surface or the pace of the NHL game, even on a bum knee, the guy was our best point producing forward in the playoffs.

Being one hour late for curfew isn't going to change my mind that I think the Preds could still use him.

Guy is poison in this franchise but what the hey we had to find out right. Time will tell if he can work in the NHL. He wont get the money he wants over here (but then again there's always some fool willing to throw good money at a problem it'll never fix, see The Wild) so it'll be a matter of pride, of proving himself, if he stays. I think he goes back to be king of the second class. It's comfy and profitable for him.
